In respect of the demands of Systems Administrators, it was resolved to demand a separate technology wing like civil wing and bring this cadre as separate establishment with higher pay. As interim measure they should be granted with special pay to the extend of 10% pay plus grade pay as if we demanded to the categories of LSG, HSG supervisors.
Cadre Review
The CWC decided to demand cadre review for the PA cadre since the earlier reviews made under TBOP & BCR lost its sanctity and importance and in respect of other cadres, there were many cadre reviews made so far. The CWC demands: -
(i) Considering the responsibilities and multifarious functions of SPMs/PMs, the Posts of single handed/Double handed SPMs may be upgraded to the present status of LSG called as 'Supervisors'.
(ii) The SPMs in Triple handed/LSG offices may be equated with the present HSG II and called as 'Senior Supervisor's.
(iii) The present HSG II & HSG I may be amalgamated into HSG and the incumbents be called as 'Chief Supervisor's.
(iv) The Postal Assistant be designated as Executive Postal Assistant with the Minimum educational qualification of Graduate with requisite knowledge of computer application. They may be placed in the pre revised pay scale of Rs. 6500-9000 as if recommended by the Sixth CPC in the case of Stenographers, vide Para 3.1.10 and 3.1.12. The Postal Assistant cadre is Unique and having more responsibilities and multifarious functions.
(v) Separate establishment of Systems Administrators be created and make it as a promotional cadre to postal Assistant who possess all required skills and Qualification.
(vi) The pay scale for Supervisor, Senior Supervisor & Chief Supervisor may be fixed as per the hierarchical line pay scales.

Dear Friends,
You are absolutely correct, we are demanding our justified and genuine right... and we r ready to do any damn thing for achieve our goal. This is very much clear that our nature of job is entirely different than that of a job of Postal Assistant. Our few of the Postal Assistants are enjoying an easy job of 10am to 5pm and that too without any responsiblility and accountibility. But on the contrary we are serving our departrmental with timeless duties mainly for more than 8 Hrs. a day and at times for 24 Hrs a day without any extra renumeration, appreciation and encouragement from the departmental side, besides this our nature of job is more responsbile and accountable.
As a matter of fact if our department realize that we are providing extra ordinary duties than that of a simpe Postal Assistant then they should accept that we need to be given a separate identity and that can only be a separate cadre under technical category, then only the departmental I.T programmes would get implemented with letter and spirit.
But it is not out of place to mention here that all those persons (whether technically qualified or not) who have/are worked/working as System Adminsitrators and Managers and have devoted their precious / endless time for the implemantation of technology programmes of the department should also be considered under new scheme and shouldnot in no case be ignored.
On this imporatnt juncture " Let us unite and fight together for our goal unless and untill we achieve it ", and department should understand that our demand is genuine and justified and would prove fruitfull to them also in the future strides and for the future IT Programmes implementaions.

Our few of the Postal Assistants are enjoying an easy job of 10am to 5pm by taking OTAs, Incentives, and all other facilities of taking leaves as and when they want to go on leave and doing the duties without any esponsiblility and accountibility. But on the working with the same cadre and same basic SAs are working endless and hard work for the sake of implementation of all the IT enabled services in the department of POSTs.

all says u will be system administrator, as i have computer qualification. But please listen me i dont wanna to a system administrator. Being a girl i dont wanna to have this dirty job of roaming day and night in post offices....

it needs to persue for this matter.have to solve the matter immediately it is being delayed it effect on efficiency of system administrator. Union required to pressure on department for early decission.
